My girls 1

This shot of my two eldest girls was taken on Main Beach, Queensland Australia this past summer, at sunset.
In portraiture, I prefer to use natural light and ideally shoot around the late afternoon, twilight or on the change of weather, when rain, a storm, wind or whatever adds an element to the image.
I asked the girls to stand three quarters on to the sea-breeze which got some movement into their hair.
The original image has had a small amount of Gaussian blur applied, etched through around the eyes and mouth, edge of face ec and I have dodged and burnt highlights and shadows a little in Photoshop
