Don't know about the rest of you but the date and time displayed in teh forum banner at the top of the page are incorrect on my machines, and on my one at work.
At the moment my PC time is 24/05/2008 - 06:52, and the banner time is 24052008 - 00:51.  I think the difference on the work machine is even bugger.  My time zone in my profile is set correctly.

What gives?  mark, can you troubleshoot this for me?  I'm an early riser but not usually up at midnight!

Click on your profile...Click on "Look and Layout Preferences"...Next to "Time Offset" click "Auto Detect"...That should fix it...Ben

Thanks, Ben.  Auto detect made it worse, but I set it to +16 and it is showing the right time.  Weird!

Mark, wher is the forum based - you're ont he Central Coast of NSW are you not?

Hello All,

The server where the forum lives is in sunny Utah USA.
As Ben noted, 'Auto select' in your profile should do the trick, or for those of us on the east coast of Australia, +16 hours (outside daylight saving).
Given the various locations of members it doen't matter much what the base time is.
