I have been busy over last couple of weeks building a new Australian Horse community website at www.aussiehorse.com.au for a client.
It still has a way to go and has not yet been officially launched (this will occur at the Pacific and Australasian Equitana event in Melbourne in November) I have built the site using Joomla and incorporated a forum based on Fireboard software, which is designed for Joomla. The site is still pretty much an "Empty room", but if any of you are into horses, pop by and register and see what you think of the forum format. You are welcom to post to any of the forum topics if you feel so inclinded.
There is also a gallery, but that is not finished yet and I'm not sure if it will keep the current format

As I mentioned a few week ago, I have been toying with the idea a broader website concept for Light Art, and this has been a good opportunity to try out the bits and pieces available. Any feedback or criticism is welcome, It's OK, I have pretty thick skin  Grin

Excellent.  I've done that.  I've always had horses uintil a few years ago and have bred ponies and Arabians, and also judged ponies, Arabians, Palominos, harness, riding etc.

Thanks for taking the time to have a look Odille. Let me know what you think. The owners have just done a mail out to most of the associations and Societies and are now setting about sourcing some contributing writers. I still have the gallery to finish, then my bit is done.

I can then turn my attention back to integrating this or another forum into a broader photography site. I have registered lightartphoto.com to put it all in. It might take a while, but it will get there eventually.

Some of us others also had a look but not being a) Website designers or b) Horse lovers chose to exit stage right! Looks good though! I like the idea of you experimenting on your paying customers and bringing the successes to us freeloaders!!  Grin Grin

On a serious note - (they happen about once every 4 years) Great effort here too Mark, keep up the good work! So that gets me through to about 2012! Grin
