Hiya, just wanted to introduce myself, although, strangely enough, feeling a wee bit nervous  Smiley My name is Anna Marie, we are living in Ireland nearly a year now, prior to that was in Cyprus for 6 - quite a change, as you can imagine!!  I am a very keen photographer, although this does tend to go in fits and starts, but having another surge just now, so thought I should register while I am feeling bold.  I am not very technically talented, anything that comes out well is instinctive rather than "chosen", but I am hoping to go on a course as soon as funds will allow!  I am using a Canon EOS 40D, which I was lucky enough to "inherit" from a previous job.  As I said, a bit nervous, so please be gentle  Wink

I found one of your otehr posts first and said welcome, but no need to be nervous - we all started at the same place, knowing nothing.  And when we adopted digital it was a new learning curve as well.

Keep shooting and posting, only nice gentle criticism here, we're a nice lot.

Welcome Anna Marie, everyone's very friendly here  Smiley

Well, nearly everyone. You've got that smart-aleck Yank who thinks he's sooooooo cool because he still prefers film. And he isn't organized enough to post pictures very often. But other than him, everyone's decent and upstanding.

Signed,

The Smart-Aleck Yank Who Thinks He's Soooooooo Cool...

But really, I'm friendly too.

Well, I like it ... Want to be critical photographically, but it sort of comes out how the pics make me feel, what they say, kind of thing, Sad, but true ... Hey and saved me a bundle, inheriting it, so to speak!
