Who can help?  I have already sent mails to our ADMIN however with no reply/success.

I would like to stop receiving new member emails.  They are of no use.  I can see whether there are approvals outstanding on the top of the screen anyway.  Now that I have activated email on my phone I get a steady stream of reminders which is rather disruptive.

I had a look around and found as only solution to leave the forum.

Any solutions welcome.

Cheers Christoph

Hey Christoph,
I have the same dilemma, the emails are consistently being downloaded to my phone at a rate sometimes in the 50 - 60 per day.
There is a couple of solutions that I can think of ...
1. Leave the forum (which I still dont want to do even though there is very little activity)
2. Get Admin Dude to take away your moderator rights.
3. Consign everything which comes from lightart to spam ... you will miss private message email alerts or general emails sent by admin but then at least they would not be coming into your inbox.

Hope that these suggestions help ... I am going to consign everything to spam as you will get any private messages when you come online to the forum anyway.

Hi Tim,

Thanks for your suggestions.  I since found another alternative.  I changed the email address on the forum.  I had and old gmail address that I no longer use.  This has cleared my normal account.

Update: I forgot to say, I still monitor this account on my desktop where I divert these email straight into a folder. However, my phone is now clear.

Cheers
Christoph

That's what I've done Tim, they go to junk mail.  I check it daily anyway before I consign them to the trash.
