This video is incredible!  He makes taking pictures under those conditions look so easy.  What a nerve!

How about the camera set up on the tripod just sitting there on the edge ! One wrong move and boom, there goes a quite a number of thousand $$ of equipment !

I can't help but show you another one. This is just amazing.
These guys are in Switzerland taking the squirrel glider style base jumping to new levels.
They use a new advanced version of the winged suit that has inflatable arms, providing a much shallower fall/glide path.
The really crazy thing is that the object is to get as close to the terrain as possible, self videoing as they go.
They are using the little GoPro Hero full HD (still and video) cameras (GoPro.com) You can buy these at surf and sport stores for a couple of hundred dollars.
Don't blink before the 7 second mark, when a guy hurtles past local observers at incredible speed.
For best effect, select 720dpi, set to full screen, then pause and let the video spool for a minute of so to prevent interuptions.
You might want to crank up the volume a bit too!
I think that this is just about the most thrilling footage you will see for a while

The GoPros are finding a lot of favour in action sports circles. Here is one more of Jensn Button taking a McLaren F1 around Australia's famous Mt Panorama Circuit at Bathurst NSW (not designed for F1 !) he beat the V8 Super car lap record by 19 seconds!
