I'm still around it the background, but on self-imposed exile from life until my work project is completed, as it must be. I have just wizzed through the members list and pruned many that appear to be spammers or less than genuine....TOO MANY.
I have also, on request from BigBob, doubled the storage space per member and have bestowed 'Global Moderator' status on a few of the original crew to help snot the 'board botherers'. You should now be able to delete spams and suspend offenders.
If I passed you over inadvertantly and want to be part of the 'Light Art boarder patrol', let me know, but I think I tagged the obvious candidates.
Regards, Mark

Time is like a freeway of infinite lanes, all leading from the past to the future. A driver in lane A may crash, while a driver in lane B survives, it follows that by changing lanes one may be able to predict the future.

I'm thinking lime green, with mauve zipper and matching man-bag - and possibly a Konica instamatic emboidered on the chest plate.

You have no idea how excited I am to see Ross in his new "suit"

We have had over 100 new registrations of "board botherers" today a new record. All removed, but you will see how much of a pain in the "a" this can be.
All new members must now be manually approved, so I'll clear them out as often as I can.

When I try to remove them it tells me I don't have the privileges to do that, yet it lets me APPROVE them! Go figure.

Hi again, Under 'Members' can you see 'awaiting approval' in the menu above the list?? If not it must be an admin only feature. I have it set so you can remove posts, delete accounts, but I have now set new members to require approval, which may be the issue. Now, I just visit the above link, select all then deselect any that look genuine.

I can see the [x APPROVE] on the Light Art splash at the top of every screen. I have tried to select 1 and remove also a few and remove but both times I couldnt.
Just gave it a go and it works now. So all Global Mods should be able to remove the fake new accounts.

Welcome to my world everyone - the back end does not stop. Seeing as I have now made approval necessary, I can change you all back to standard moderator, which should stop the notifications and I'll do my best to clear out the rabble each day. I'll have to do it tomorrow tho' as it is late and I still have an hour or so of work to day before OTB

It doesnt worry me that much, its better that we can all help out and keep it clear, that way you dont have to spend all the time clearing out and can spend more time keeping us up and running like clockwork
