As you know I have been having "USB troubles" and I decided to take the computer to the shop to see what is wrong with it. The guy said it could at best be the power supply at worst the mother board which would = a new computer as my stuff is a few yrs old now and none of the new motherboards would work with it. Eventually he put a new bank of USB ports in which seem to be working so my problems with putting my photos onto the computer are over for now, although he seemed to think the computer is on its last legs !!

Now I have some working USB ports everything is getting backed up onto 2 x 500gig external HDD's ... all 26,000+ photos Smiley (81.1 gig), music, videos etc takes some time !

Massive pain in the ass, dont need the computer to die on me tho, cant afford the $1000 for a new half decent computer right now Sad
