Wished there were more! I remember growing up and seeing Country Life , with all the gorgeous properties fopr sale across the UK. How some of those homes mesmerised me as a child.

Tommy I've found some info on the second house and it was renovated in the 60's so not all that original but the style would be correct, have posted a link for you.

Looking at those houses I always try to imagine what it was like when they were built.  Was it just another house then or was it something special?  Compare this to buildings today.
