I need inspiration or ideas of a project indoors!!

I am getting up to go to work and it's cold, windy, rainy and dark.... I am coming home from work and it's cold, windy, rainy and dark!!  Angry

This makes getting out & about with a camera very hard... so would like to undertake a basic project indoors.. but struggling for inspiration.. Huh?

Tommy it's a real dilemma and I empathise totally.

I used to have an antique shop in a past life and one of my pet thrills was capturing old wares on digital images. Have you thought of collating a family history using treasures within your family? Grannie's lace bonnet? Uncle Freddie's inscribed silver cigarette case? The vase your grandfather brought home during the war made from a shell casing? It doesn't matter. It'd be a lovely keepsake also for the children because you'd be telling a pictorial story of all their family.

Just an idea Smiley

Well Tommy stuck for ideas how about carrying on from Odille's suggestion and calling your theme still life this way you can include anything that takes your fancy from paint brush and tin of paint to a leaf that you picked up. I know how you feel with the weather as my theme is the city that i live in and i can't go out in this wind and rain so I'm hoping it clears up for next week so that i can get out to carry on shooting or i could invest in a weatherproof housing for my camera.

Both great ideas!  I like the idea of collating images of items that mean something to my family and I like the still life idea..

Right... Some still life shots coming v soon

Thanks guys  Smiley
