Is there anywhere online I can edit photos ?
I can take photos and put them on my new external HDD via card reader and my work laptop, BUT I cant edit them as I cannot load programs onto the computer. SO I need somewhere to edit them online ... suggestions because I would like to do it while I am away in Cairns in 2 weeks time.
Otherwise I think it will be paint for a resize / crop and thats about it Sad

You can do some basic stuff in Photobucket, and it is painfully slow, but it is possible

There is "photoshop.com" where you can do photoediting. Its pretty basic but its alright ! You do have to sign up but I think it will do me for when I am up north in Cairns etc.

Perhaps I'm being a bit naive here but could you use a portable hard drive with your programs on to plug into your laptop. i know that my brother uses one to store his music for his disco's

Hey Bob, unfortunately no ... the programs put files onto the hard drive of the computer and modify the operating system (windows, etc.) so they can run, the work laptop is completely blocked from me so I can not install any program at all.
I can understand the reasoning for this because if a virus got into the system and spread through the company there would be hundreds of thousands of people affected by it and possibly millions of dollars wasted / lost.
I may have to just suck it up and re-install windows onto my desktop computer at some stage so my USB ports will work again Sad
