These guys and gals all hold high office in Devon and it was the job of Hilda and i to lookafter them for the evening ( it's a tough job but somebody has to do it ).To the right of the picture is Hilda next to her is the Lord lieutenant of Devon followering around the back rowe one of the event organisers and his wife,then escort to the deputy Lord mayor of Exeter,wife of the mayor of torbay,deputy lord mayor of Exeter,wife of the mayor of Exmouth,mayor of Exmouth,front rowe Mayor of Torbay,Lady mayoress of Plymouth, Lord mayor of Plymouth

It's not such a big deal Tommy all except the Lord lieutenant who holds office for life the others only hold office for one year at a time and Hilda had her turn as Lord mayor of Exeter back in 2004/2005 and because she is still a city councillor we tend to get involved with all sorts of things some we can enjoy others we just smile and hope that they pass quickly.Some of the people that we met during Hilda's term of office we have remained friends with and so see each other on a regular basis
