"Here's Lookin' at You Kiddo"

« on: October 30, 2010, 01:32:30 PM »

Woke at 5 to head off into the wilderness for my usual Sunday foray. Definitely bleak weather and dark outside but I noticed over the back decking, a different hue to the greenery. Upon closer scrutiny, it appears the Creek behind my property is in flood and rising.
#1 Dilemma -- stay and defend not risking the storage area below the house (anything at risk is all elevated)
#2 Dilemma -- head for a bit of photojournalistic works towards the city and see if there's some action shots?
#3 Dilemma -- ask a friend !!

Smiley Keep you posted.
At least the water catchments will be finally over 50%

Time is like a freeway of infinite lanes, all leading from the past to the future. A driver in lane A may crash, while a driver in lane B survives, it follows that by changing lanes one may be able to predict the future.

That made me laugh out loud Christoph!

Waters receded and I went to several National Parks in the pouring rain, loving each moment.

You had a month's rain in a day, the news said.  Been a wet old spring, as I think I posted elsewhere, we broke the 1908 record of 408 with a whopping 446+mm for October.
