You are game to use that much clear blue sky.  I think it works, though.  Well done! 
(Did you notice the bit of cloud on the bottom left?  My eye keeps going back to it.)

There's even a glimmer in the sky of the first star. I like this Ross, particularly because the sihlouettes highlight the shades of blue sky in twilight time. Peacefully portrayed.
