The focus seems to be on the foot rather than the needle, but still an intresting shot

yes, the focus had to be on the foot as the needle was a sod to focus on, the amount of shots that were blurred, but I'm still happy with the result

Maybe you could blur the needle some more to make it look like it's moving.  For me there is too much white.  It pulls my eyes away from / makes it hard to focus on the needle.

I like the concept but agree - the focus not being on the needle lets it down a bit.
