Doesnt look too hard to get around for the kids ! Its just the council covering its butt in case someone falls off and hurts themselves, because in this day and age someone would sue the council for their own stupidity !

Nice colours in the pic tho Smiley the ocean looks lovely and inviting !

Time is like a freeway of infinite lanes, all leading from the past to the future. A driver in lane A may crash, while a driver in lane B survives, it follows that by changing lanes one may be able to predict the future.

Looks like they're using some serious rods also. I have to ask the question. Did Council leave the gate unlocked? Or are the fish only biting 2 metres within the right and left of the structure. Good spotting. Nice colours. Looks like you've definitely got better weather at the moment !

Good social comment shot, christoph, and nice colour rendition too.  the old 'if rules are inconvenient, ignore them' lot.  And if they got washed oss by a big wave they'd be screaming (a) for help; and (b) why isn't such a dangerous place better fenced.  All part of our Don't take responsibility, it has to be 'someone's fault' society.

I agree.  I am looking at the comment "typical" in multiple ways - (1) rules seem to be there to be broken - (2) rules are created to safeguard individuals from themselves (whether the need/like it or not) - (3) rules are created to prevent potential litigation
