Thanks Jenn, i was trying to show the wide open space that is dartmoor but also convey the enclosed feeling of the prison.It is surrounded by peat bogs some large enough to swallow up a coach, It was once said that if you escaped and got off the moors then you were free, not sure if that is true but it makes a good folk tale. I used to make regular delivers to the prison and believe me when the doors close behind you your heart sinks even though i knew that 30 minuets later i would be driving out

May I suggest less foreground; just a thin strip.  To me it takes the emphasis away from the real topic, which is pretty bleak.  Well caught!
