Again and again, the pictures on this site seem to be a bit fuzzy.  Does the upload somehow reduce contrast and detail?  Is this possible?

It would be interesting as a test to upload the same image twice - once directly into a gallery and once via flickr/photobucket etc to see if there is any difference!

OK, here are some options:

1 - upload to Flickr, then link to LA

decaying leaf by christophrm, on Flickr

2 - no resizing in PS, then upload to LA

3 - resizing to 900 max in PS, then upload to LA

I can't see any difference in clarity.  Any other suggestions?

All look fairly similar ... no2 looks a bit more grainy than 1 + 3 but sharpness is still there.

Time is like a freeway of infinite lanes, all leading from the past to the future. A driver in lane A may crash, while a driver in lane B survives, it follows that by changing lanes one may be able to predict the future.

The Flickr one is definitely the sharpest on my monitor, then #3

Try photoshop effect to increase sharpness and other things.

Hi all,

The images are only resized if they exceed max size of 1024.
and yes I am alive, albeit AWOL, but I will be back when I get thtought my self imposed exile of all distractions until my business project is completed - getting there after severl long months. I miss the community, but work unfortunately comes first at the moment
