Hi Gang..

I have been missing from the forum for a while and have been looking through a lot of posts!! Too many to comment on indivually so well done all!!

My wife and I have been struggling a bit of late then our car packed in so needed a new one asap... We haven't got much money so I had to sell my Canon 50d, lenses, flash, background and 4 modeeling lights to pay for a new car (well new to us)  Sad

It was a last option and my wife didn't want me to do it as she knows how much all the gear and photography meant to me but as a husband and father I had to do what I had to do!!

Hopefully we can get ourselves sorted and I can get a new camera but prob won't be this side of Christmas!!

So, I have stayed outta the forums because I miss it so much!!

Keep up the good work guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!    Wink

Hi Tommy

Sorry to hear of your bad luck - life has a habit of slapping us down every so often, as I know from long experience!  Best of luck and hope things look up and we see you back here soon.

Your presence is valued Tommy.  I think we've all been in financial predicaments, so don't let that deter you from staying amongst pals and even if you revisit some of your favourite pics in these leaner times, we'd love to see them. I often wonder how many of us have stunning photos just sitting in the archives.

Thoughts are with you

Tommy we all miss you and hope that your circumstance changes for the better. Now please don't be offended with me but i have a Nikon D70 and 28/200 lens and a few bits that are only good for the d70 sitting here doing nothing for the last 2 years. I would be quite happy to post it all to you on the understanding that when you are on your feet again that you do the same with the camera for someone else (you pay the postage) Please take this seriously as i had it on eBay and it didn't reach reserve so i told Hilda that i would rather give it away than sell it for a pittance and I'm quite happy that it is someone I'm acquainted with
