Day 11 - The Colour Purple

http://www.lightartforum.com/index.php?action=gallery;sa=view;id=4276

My mother's neighbour's garden is a maze of rickety pathways through a cacophony of flowers and plants. Here's one that begged to be photographed and shared with you all.

That colour is pretty intense.  Great focus on the closest flower.

Jenn, may I ask something re the rule of thirds?  If you put the in-focus flower further to the left into the corner of the lower third, you might create a diagonal line from the lower left to the flower top right.  Would that add dynamic to the picture?  I hope you don't mind.

Yes, I like it!  It got rid of the brown, empty space on the lower left and you can see the complete flower top right. Ooops, when I clicked on your 1st picture I realised that system cropped your picture on the right.  Anyway, somehow I feel more vibrancy in the new version.  Thanks Jenn.
