It has been raining here for the whole month so far. We've had 253.5 mm to 4 pm this afternoon for OCtober (average of 23.5 per day - almost an inch a day by the old scale).

I looked out this afternoon and there were these two poor, wet, miserable little buggers in our poinciana tree. About 2 hours later they hadn't moved.

You can see how wet it is from the drops on the tree. We were a bit puzzled as to why they didn't move in further towards the centre of the tree where it would be more sheltered, but there are often pythons on the tree and maybe that's why they stick to the extremities.

I think the rain has brought the colours in this image, out beautifully. Whilst I feel sorry for the galahs, I daresay they're pretty happy, otherwise they'd have perched under someone's carport Smiley

Time is like a freeway of infinite lanes, all leading from the past to the future. A driver in lane A may crash, while a driver in lane B survives, it follows that by changing lanes one may be able to predict the future.

You can really feel sorry for them.  Great contrast between the bird and the tree.  Fine picture.
