I was very bored yesterday with the rain.  Warwick has this square blue tub out in the garden, and it was filled with water and I leaned out of an unscreened window upstairs and took this of the raindrops going in and then played with the plastic wrap filter in CS4.  The goldy bits are stuff (leaves etc) in the bottom if the container.

How relaxing!  Makes you feel at ease.  Great shot and editing.

Wouldn't that make a superb glass wall tile?

Nice adaptation Odille

It was that glass like look I wanted to achieve, Jen.  It came up really nicely, I plan to reshoot with the H2 for a bit more detail and bigger file.

Unlike for the Galah shot the weather is playing nicely for you to re-shoot this one !
I like the effect. Can you post the original please ?? Smiley

Time is like a freeway of infinite lanes, all leading from the past to the future. A driver in lane A may crash, while a driver in lane B survives, it follows that by changing lanes one may be able to predict the future.

There you go Tim, I opened it and made a jpeg, only adjustment is ACRs standards of Brightness 50 and Contrast 25 and I set the blacks to 0.

When I opened it in ACR to edit I bumped the exposure to +0.85 and the luminance to 45.

In PS I then:
  • increased the canvas size
skewed it a bit to get rid of the visible bit of the container
played with the Curves by making an an adjustment layer, picking Curves and then going (Mac) Option+Auto bullet which gives you 6 choices
    applied a plastic wrap filter
applied a darken curves as it came up very light
applied a Vibrance layer with some Vibrance and Saturation

Voila!
