Anniversary present

Not the usual thing to put on a photography site but I'm running out of ideas so I'm looking for some help! what would be a good present for a 40th wedding anniversary you have plenty of time as it's not until March 20th and on that day we fly off to Spain but we do that every year so it don't count. Hilda allready has 4 jewelry boxes full because I've ran out of ideas in the past so gold is good, but want something differant this year you can be a little extravagant in your suggestions as we do have some savings and we can't take them with us when we go so thinking caps on thanks guys and gals

Well, 40 year anniversary is ruby.  Does she like display type things, what about a piece of beautiful ruby glass?

Or, if she doesn't have one, and it is the sort of thing she'd wear, you could get her one of those Pandora type bracelets that you buy charms to go on to celebrate special occasions, and start it off with a ruby charm.  There are a few brands of them about, but most are interchangeable as to the charms.
