great colour on the dark green background
Appropriate for today which was "RU OK" day ... aimed at raising awareness of depression linked suicide by encouraging people to ask the simple question ! The theme colour was orange ... I spent the day in Dr's surgeries wearing a "mango" coloured T-Shirt getting funny looks as my new company was one of the corporate sponsors of the day.

Time is like a freeway of infinite lanes, all leading from the past to the future. A driver in lane A may crash, while a driver in lane B survives, it follows that by changing lanes one may be able to predict the future.

Well, there you go, I didn't know that Tim.  It was just so pretty and it attracted me.  and it was taken on the day, I actually went over the road to try and catch the small plane that does mozzie spraying up the creek, but I took this on the way home and it was better.
I made 2 layers here as I wanted to darken the background.  I then erased everything but the flower in the top layer and put a (lightly applied) High Pass sharpening layer over it, and put a very small Gaussian blur (it already had quite good DOF separation) and a darkening curve on the background layer.  Colour of the flower is pretty much 'as was'.

Nicely portrayed Odille and good use of not over processing. Great shot.
