Day 4 - After the Storm

The remains of the big cloudband that hammered us for 2 days giving us 152mm rain in 48 hours (142.5 of that in one day!).

I wanted the focus to be on the rays but to get this I had to lower the camera onto a little ledge that runs around at the first floor, then lean out the window to press the shutter!  So I'm afraid it focussed on the tree frond!  The rays were very fleeting so this is the best I could get.

There are lot of us out here who would be proud to have taken this shot, as it is a good one but perhaps i mite suggest a crop of about one third off the right hand side this would concentrate the eye on the in focus fronds
