I guess it's just us this month.  I like the "paintlike" feel to this shot.  How do you do it?

I'll take full responsibility for suggesting the theme SC - maybe it hasn't enamoured many members? There was a reason however, as my daughter asked she name the topic - in memory of a much loved family pet who was euthenased last month.

The effect was just a simple use of 'filters' in  Adobe PS Elements 7.0. Glad you liked it

Sorry to hear about your dog.  I lost one several years ago due to a snakebite, but he was still very young.  I can't imagine having to say goodbye to a family pet that has been around for many years.  My time will come, though.

It's very nice, I did comment in the Gallery I think.  Unfortunately I don't have a dog at the moment.  I did keep my eye out but haven't been out much due to my sore foot (getting a bit better but very slow).
