A few people had them on the workshop I went on and I was quite impressed with it.  I did not realise the Live View feature was so comprehensive and it enables you to soom in to refine your focus, adjust the contrast/brightness/etc in a preview to see how the image will look, and does a lot of other stuff too.  The images produced were of good standard and considering one of the participants had never even used a DSLR before, she produced very good images using one of the organiser's 7Ds.

It is certainly up to the usual Canon standard.  Why not go along to a camera store and ask for some hands on time with one.  Take your own media card and see if they will let you shoot a few sample images in the shop and then you can look at them on your own monitor at home and see how you feel about it.

We've had a matching pair for the last four months or so! Tons of features (haven't come to grips with the zone AF as yet), Liveview is fantastic (zoomed in 10x for manual focus) good burst rate for sports, great image quality, and lots of pixels... yep, we are enjoying them! Grin

Certainly hearing some very good opinion about the Canon 7D which seems to have some awesome features and seem to be a prized camera to own!! I am sure after hearing this opinion, there won't be any doubt about investing in this one!! There is some fantastic idea of how to check it out when you go to the shop to check it out and have hands on experience with it!! Really enjoyed reading that!!
