Hiya all.

just founded this amazing group on face book called "Photographers in Action".

http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=116495585051967&v=photos&ref=ts#!/group.php?gid=116495585051967&v=wall&ref=ts

If your like me and like checking out what the big boys and hobbists alike are using at events and on the job , you need to check out their photo gallery...... makes me a little green with envy at what some of these guys use and get up to.

regards

As we have not yet seen a single picture from you I'm not sure what your intentions are, afterall this is a forum for photographers to share their pictures and help each other with constructive critique on what we post and if i remember correctly you gave some fairly harsh critique on one of Odille's pictures so much so that she removed it. So i would suggest you start posting some of your work for all to see, if not then my suggestion to our moderators would be to evict you.Just my opinion perhaps others may think differently

Hey there Bigbob..... perhaps your memory dosnt serve you correctly after all. In fact i didnt serve any harsh anything on her pics.... Merely correcting what was a little mis info thats all.... In fact i received more then a few pm's and emails supporting me and trying to talk me into contributing more.... Some of have to work and dont always have time to lurk on forums every minute of the day.... My work involves a tremendous amount of travel so when i get the time i check in.... Glad to see Tim is keeping the sports thread going and i admire his work.

p.s. No hidden agendas here...... sorry to have stepped on your toes bobbie

Here you go Bigbob... here are direct links to my pictures which you will be able to see why i cant post them on a public forum. I am sure if you google me you will find a hell of a lot more published by both Australian and International newspapers / magazines..feel free to give them your critique. Further any one who is on facebook can feel free to add me if they so desire. (if u join me on facebook u will also get to see links to my Travel Assignment albums for a Major Travel Guide Company i also work for )  from Canada, Europe, Nth America, NZ, Asia, middle east.

Hope this quells your desire to black list me.

Regards and Happy looking

You can post as many links to other sites as you like i will only look at them when you post here. I have friends that are pro photographers and they travel the world taking pictures and most, like to relax by taking pictures that they want to take not ones that they have been told they have to take.Mark Ansty is editor of the Northcliff group of papers one of Englands largest groups of local papers having said that they are local they cover Europe.
In an open reply to my pm from blazefan i have no ill will towards you my concern is that every member contributes to the site by posting pictures

And bob, everyone else who is a regular poster is not afraid to give their name.  I totally agree with your sentiments

I haven't looked at any of these links as there are soooo many!

I have to wonder why you have posted all these links and you state your reason for all these links is why you can't post on a public forum?Huh?

I am confused, are every single picture you take under some sort of copyright to another site??

I totally get what Bob is saying... we are a small, friendly group who comment and critique on teach others pictures.  Be they good or not so good.... we at least post them.

I don't see why you are being so coy with your photos.... and frankly, if you don't have time to post 1 or 2 pics here... then I certainly don't have time to check out your 30 links!

Hello everyone ...

I understand where Blaze Fan is coming from Smiley ... I know who Blaze Fan is even tho I am not sure he remembers me from our rather brief discussions a couple of times during one Quicksilver pro comp. (over some pictures of one rather attractive young lady Wink)

His photos which have been purchased and published would have been bought by companies who either "lease" or "own" the rights to the photos and part of the conditions would be that he doesnt use those photos elsewhere (or similar) which will prevent him from posting those photos on forum sites.
That is why he is linking to other sites where his work has been published.

As for the facebook page it is merely providing a look at other pro photographers and their gear set-ups.

Not that I can understand why Blaze Fan might be green with envy with the gear you have !

I know it seems like I might be sticking up for the bad guy but now I know who he is I know just how good a photographer he is and how welcome we should make him on this forum, and make use of the experience he can bring.

Time is like a freeway of infinite lanes, all leading from the past to the future. A driver in lane A may crash, while a driver in lane B survives, it follows that by changing lanes one may be able to predict the future.

Well, the information you’ve provided I can appreciate that I still have a lot of things to learn.
