Time is like a freeway of infinite lanes, all leading from the past to the future. A driver in lane A may crash, while a driver in lane B survives, it follows that by changing lanes one may be able to predict the future.

Hi Tim,
I like the perspective of this shot and the choice of black and white.
If you had a tripod on hand, a little bit more DOF would be good - like f16 or 22

Nice shot and angle of view, but I agree with Admin, a bit more DoF would be good and maybe a
ND grad filter to tone down that background a bit.

One of the things I love about my tripod is that I can remove the center column and splay the legs out - thus I get down and dirty and have support.

Greater depth of field would sharpen up the fuzzy bit of log at the extreme right of the frame, which is just a little bit distracting. The photo is a great idea though. I like to shoot things like this, and I always feel better about a day of shooting when I've got some dirt on my knees or leaves in my hair.

A little depth would help, but this is an interesting shot.
