This board is the heart and soul of Light Art. It is designed to present your images for viewing, critique and discussion by members.
To participate, first visit the gallery link from the top menu. Each gallery is linked to a discussion board within this area.
1. Navigate to a gallery topic of interest.
2. Click on the category title to be taken to that gallery
3. Either browse or to upload an image, scroll down the bottom of the page where you will find an "upload image" link. (you must be registered to upload)
4. Create a title, description and upload your image from your machine.
5. A new post will be automatially added to the linked discussion board within this forum board, for discussion.
In the case of monthly theme challenges, you may currently enter multiple images (maybe reviewed if traffic warrants)
You may also visit the gallery and post comments, but we'd prefer you do this within the board area.
You may use the voting sytem in the gallery to rate images. This will (for the time being) be the method used to rate monthly them challenges. Please do not vote on your own images.

Admin dude, I have a request. Is it possible that images in personal galleries can generate a thread? I have put some new ones in there today, and I noticed Derek has a cracker of a swan shot in his, but they do not generate a discussion thread.
Woudl be nice . . . .

When you set up a personal gallery, if you scroll down you should see the opportunity to link to a board.
So which bord would you like to create posts in? Do wew want a board for each member by request, or aboard just called "members gallery"??
Can do that, but will need to be tomorrow. Off to the Hunter Valley soon to see, Kate Ceberano, Dragon and Simply Red. This one might be a wet one, a warm damp and humid day, but will be taking the gear along. One of these days, I won't get past the gate!
... a bit later, I'll duck in a create anew board called "Members galleries"

I think Member's Galleries would be fine. AT least we'd see them when they are posted. If people could make sure their titles are descriptive it should work OK.
