I will be driving down to Wollongong to collect a cat next week and thought I'd like to get some tips for good spots to take photos along the way.  I do plan to try to capture the Seacliff Bridge while I am there.

Do we have any locals there or along the way who can give me any knowledge? I need to know about places where I can get off the road to take photographs. The first day I an travelling from home to Newcastle (Merewether Hieghts) to dstay at a friend's place, so it will be a fairly straight through trip.  But the second day I don't have nearly as far to go so want to try to capture a few good shots, weather permitting.  and on the 3rd day (5th Jan) I will be up early looking for some dawn shots, rockpools at dawn - that type of thing.
