8 Seconds.

http://www.lightartforum.com/index.php?action=gallery;sa=view;id=395

I took this during last Winter at our old house and if I remember right, it was an 8 second exposure.

The light trail in the sky is a heavy jet on approach to Glasgow airport from down South somewhere.

Nice.  Pity about the purple artefact round the closest light, but I love the sky colours.

Thanks.

I'd agree about the halo around the first light, it pulls the eye a bit. Smiley

I didn't even notice the "purple artefact" until I read Analogue6's critique. Maybe that's because I'm still a novice but there it is. I also like the sky and clouds.

Welcome John, we are all novices in some way, and some of us more so than others! I don't tend to comment on the technical aspects but still think I can contribute by saying what appeals and what doesn't! Come on in and enjoy!

First up... Welcome JohnP.
Quietly sneaking in there!
Thank you for joining us....and purple artiacts are a matter of taste....

The 'heavy jet' almost looks like someone has thrown a ladder across the road!

Nice image Dale. The bit of lens flair does stand out a bit, but it doesn't look to bad anyway.
That thing in the sky does looks a bit like a ladder like Admin dude said, maybe its the stairway to heaven.
