Went for a highkey effect in photoshop with this one, bringing exposure up 1.5 stops and brightness by +50, also did some saturation to increase colours + I used the brush tool to darken the colour in the eyes.

Maybe it works ... maybe it doesnt Smiley

That's a nice one, I like the way her eyes are somehow intensified as the main focus points.  I'd crop out the coloured shirt and toy at the bottom so the effect is intensified.

Tim i love the picture but i think you should put away your creative instinct and take Isla's birthday picture as a true record of how she looks that day, afterall it it is part of her family album and that will stay with her forever. Artistic content is good but not always right

Dont worry Bob, there are PLENTY of pics which have not been photoshopped Smiley
Its just the focus on this one was a little soft at 100% so I thought I might just have a little play with it !

Plus her b'day party is on the 20th and there will be plenty of pics then too !
