What we did in the past

This is in the garden of rose cottage Cockington the owner assures me that they are original and in there original place, however i seem to remember from my history that stocks were situated in the village square.a challenge here for Oli this is only a 30 min walk from Torquay town centre if you fancy a meet one sunday  let me know don't leave it too long as they all close for winter

Sometimes I think some people still deserve to be locked up in these things !!

Have you tried a scratches + dust filter in photoshop on this one ? It would make the photo look nice and old with the B+W !

Black and white tends to focus more on composition and tonal values - I think it enhances the subject as colour does not distract from it.
