Life Passes By

So fleeting at times, barely recognisable to some. Yet to others, a journey of discovery and spellbinding experience.

I like it.  There is movement and stability.  Did you use a tripod?

Yes I had my tripod in use and didn't manage to trip one person in the process! There's a convenient nook from this viewpoint and I was safely out of people's pathways.

I've noticed some recurring posters from the other shot in this posting.  Is this a favorite place to shoot?

Even though it's a fair hike for me to get into the City, I have become increasingly magnetised to this laneway and over a period of 6 or 8 weeks, have managed 4 visits. The posters do get overpasted in places but by and large, it's the vitality and life force of the ever changing passers by set against the same backdrop, which has inspired me. There are other laneways to explore of course, but this is a thoroughfare for many people through to the busier CBD and has a mood of its' own with the array of shuttered shops, grafitti and fascinating folk who frequent it.
