Well, I have been totally outrageous again.  I have bought myself a 1DsMkII (wanted a full frame) so I will have a 1D MkIIN body for sale for what I pad, $2400.00, plus postage.

But the outrageous part is that I was looking (idly) at digital backs for the hasselblad, and I bought this instead:

Hasselblad H2 with HV90x and PHASE ONE P20 and 80mm 2.8
the link is here but because I have bought it already I do not know if you will be able to see it, if it comes up you'll have to scroll down a bit http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=290348222906&ssPageName=ADME:L:CORT:GB:1123#ht_5806wt_1137.

I never intended to buy one of these, but at 5am I do weird things. And it has been a long held dream to have a medium format digital, and I've done it for under $8,500 incl insurance and postage.  3 years ago these cost about $22,000 new!  You guys and gals will be the first to know when it gets here, if I said I was excited would you believe me?

So I'll also have for sale one 553ELX with prism finder and 150mm lens!  Not sure what to charge yet, I'll have a look around on the web.

WOW Odille that's superb and a great deal too. This is a stunning piece of equipment, I am very, very envious. Looks like you got to one of my dreams before I did.  Roll Eyes

If I had the $$$ I would snap up that 1D mkIIn ... would love another 1D to back up my mkIII ... then I could have the 300mm attached to one body full time and the 70 - 200mm on the other !!

Tim, if you want ti you can have it and pay it off to me, I know you are good for it.  Email me.  I'd rather it went to someone who will really appreciate it.  Came with 2 batteries but one is very slow to charge so I think that one is on its last legs perhaps.

I've replied by email, but I forgot to say I am off work until 5 October (enforced holiday on no pay!) so just give me a ring on 07 5590 4442 or 0438 565 607.

It's in the country! The man from UPD rang me and they wanted $900 GST & Duty (I knew there would be some). When I told him it was a used item he went off very perplexed to check and recalculate. I might have it tomorrow! Oh, I am so excited.
