Honiton inn now out

http://www.lightartforum.com/index.php?action=gallery;sa=view;id=3006

There has been an inn on this site since Roman times, this one was built in Tudor times, opposite is the busiest bus station in the west contry changing here for Kernow and the Rivera so customers a plenty.
Nextdoor is the civic centre where the city council make there decisions about our city NOT most were made in the bar here over a pint after the meeting's.The point is Global rescission has caused the owner's to close and sell up, unfortunately no preservation order on this building so will probably be bought by developers then demolished.

What a tragedy if such icons disappear.  And a very nice shot of it, Bob.

That would be terrible if they did demolish that old pub.

Time is like a freeway of infinite lanes, all leading from the past to the future. A driver in lane A may crash, while a driver in lane B survives, it follows that by changing lanes one may be able to predict the future.

The fact the pub might go is sad, but what's sadder to me is the fact that people who enjoyed meeting there, greeting friends, sharing their days, are unable to afford a pint and a 'blether'. One of many I daresay Bob.
Nicely portrayed Bob.

The demise of a pub like this, despite location, traffic and history is a great pity. Even worse that a building dating from tudor times is not afforded protection or local support is a minor tragedy.
