At the top of any page on the right hand size there is an "unread/replies" link, click unread and you will see all unread posts since your last visit.

Also on the Front/Home page - the bottom bar is users on-line, and directly above that is Forum Stats - this has links to latest post (the latest post) and The most recent posts (last 10 pages of posts!) Grin
