The brief is for test photos to see if i meet the company standards.
It contains only two food shots for this i can ask the cafe manageress to prepair anything from there takeaway and one of there eat in meals and photograph them anywhere i like but preferably on site.the next one is quite easy a picture of the outside showing customers enjoying the outside eating area. Now this is the big one a photograph at night with all the inside lights on showing the inside and the singe outside which is not lit. this sound's like 2 or 3 shots combined in ps I'm not that good with ps so this one could be my downfall. any help appreciated, the company can be found at www.fresha.org.
If lucky enough the eventual job is to update the photos every month.
No pressure pictures to be submitted by Friday 5 June 1600hrs

Bob, the Ploughman's lunch could be good for the eat in meal - good contrast of colours etc ont he plate, or a big breakfast.

For the outisde shot, try a couple of long exposures with a tripd.  You could them do the paint with light using a torch (big wide beam) or fire a flash at the end.  Is there any way of reflecting light from under the outside canopy (I'm assuming there is one)?  Is it a light colour underneath?

There is no canopy only a tree to offer shade to customers.
I was thinking of getting a baguette made up "harvester" This will at least have texture filling would be bright perhaps beef tomato and salad leaf "three colours" so not to complicated take in natural light and pray

You will be fine Bob, just make sure you check your camera settings before you even leave home while you are relaxed so you are SURE you have things like ISO and focusing set correctly.

Time is like a freeway of infinite lanes, all leading from the past to the future. A driver in lane A may crash, while a driver in lane B survives, it follows that by changing lanes one may be able to predict the future.

The best of fortune Bob. It's a great thrill for you, to be asked to do something you are so passionate about.

Can you possibly order 2 or 3 things before the 5th and take them home to play with the settings and test backdrops there? Nobody said the food had to be hot for practising.

I look forward to hearing how you get on. We're all thinking of you.
