Voila A.D. Some of us are out there slaving our ... off to fulfill your wishes!!! (like I don't have enough to fulfill here!!!) A concept that needs a tad more work, but I think it is the first time I have been first post!!!!

Bob - the candles were lit as I wanted the yellow glow - it was about a half second exposure so the only way to keep the light right for both the candles and the fruit  was multiple exposures and blending - I took the easy option and "blew" them out with photoshop! Need to work on a version without the candlesticks altogether....!!! Grin

Nice effect with the black background. With the candles you could also take a could of shots
of the flame at the correct exposure and clone them into this image. nice shot though.

Would it possible to re shoot with a graduated grey filter over the candles.
It's just a thought that is what i would try, Hay what am i doing this is a compertition and here I'm telling you how to win. but with all the stares on this page i don't think that you need help

Bob - Just as well the stakes we are playing for aren't too high!!!  Grin And as Odille (I think) pointed out a few days back - we are all still learning! That's one of teh great things about photogrphy & also about forums such as this!!! Wink
