hi there, my name is johnny and i'm a canadian recently moved to sydney for a few months. To be honest, i'm already bored. it's a beautiful city but i can't seen to get inspired yet.
i've been shooting on the nikon for a few years now. mostly streets shots and people. I don't usually do flash photography or portrait but i'm starting to try to learn more about it. for sample of stuff i shoot check out

any critiques or suggestions would be appreciated.
Also i have been shooting short  films.
sample of my shorts can be seen here

i would love to try to get into the sydney film scene whether it is helping on set anyone's sets or meeting people to collaborate with. As well, i really appreciate any suggestion of places in sydney or surrounding areas to shoot. i'm not a big natures person, i like things that are gritty and unique. but probably should try to expand my repertoire
cheers and great to meet you all
johnny

Welcome Johnny.  We have some Sydney folk here and I'm sure we'll enjoy seeing some of your images.

Hey Johnny..Welcome.

There is plenty of "gritty" in Sydney. The markets, inner city, and out in the suburbs, Jump on a train and go out to Cabramatta, or some to the industrial areas around Mascot.
Art is where you find it...and it doesn't need much space to exist...welcome!

Time is like a freeway of infinite lanes, all leading from the past to the future. A driver in lane A may crash, while a driver in lane B survives, it follows that by changing lanes one may be able to predict the future.
