Looks like a strap on the leg to me so it must be if my eyesight is correct

Both of the photos that I have have in this gallery are falconers birds. From the Healesville Wildlife Sanctuary. Atleast these birds get a chance to get out and stretch their wings I felt sorry for the caged birds.

Yes, I though they were jesses and that's why I asked.  They are beautiful birds.
