I've been trying to learn a few languages off and on for a while, but a lack of conversation partners usually ends up making me dormant again. I was recently introduced to www.Livemocha.com and so far it seems like a pretty simple and useful tool for the self-motivated. It has a Facebook-like layout and a community of speakers that you can submit recordings to and they can give you feedback on your accent, pronunciation and so on.

I'm still new to it, but my room mate has been using it and it seems like a pretty handy resource for anyone looking to jump into another language, so thought I'd pass it along!

Between the shoddy weather, my lack of motivation to be cold and wet in it, figuring out immigration and job nonsense, and working on learning Mandarin I've effectively hit the {pause} button going out photo-hunting. Maybe once I stop being a wimp and find my rain hat I'll submit my next photos in Mandarin!  Cheesy

New languages are always good to learn, but I will leave that for someone else to do.
They tried to teach me French at school but I failed the class, thing is though, I can still remember some
words and can still count to 10. It just wont go away.
