FYCA Breasting the bar at Tweed Heads

I have quite a few shots of this particular trawler, which has no name on the hull, but her call sign (prominently displayed) is FYCA.

I was out ont he breakwall taking surf shots to the north and I saw this one coming in so dived over to the other side of the wall and got this great shot into the sun.  I didn't even realise the guy was in teh rigging till I got it home.

Not much PP, just a bit of fiddling in highlights/shadows mix. And yes, it is in colour, I haven't 'monochromed' it, it's just the effect you get into the sun, which I like very much.

Wow! It shows how hard the trwaler guys work when having to deal with sea bars etc..
There is obviosly alot of movement, well done on capturing the moment!
