Not so keen on that one, the pose is not natural and to me, anyway, looks very contrived.  Maybe if she'd been in a more curled up ose, the way we often do when we feel down.  And the tone is very warm, maybe a blue backdrop and blue filter on the lights.  But I haven't done much studio work, just my gut suggestions here, marty.

Hi Marty,

Good to see you back and posting.
Posing people 'naturally' and effectively is very difficult. I one sense, I agree with Odille, but in another, I quite like the way you've tried to balance the curve of the right knee with the opposing elbow. I think it might have worked just a bit more effectively if the model's face was turned away from the camera. Admittedly not quite so good from a portfolio perspective, but a more likely pose in terms of the line. I also like the soft even light. Is naturl or studio lit?
