Hi all, just found this place, looks good.

Anyway, I'm South wales Valleys born and bred but now living in Scotland with my Fiancee, Nicola.  I'm a keen photographer anf have been 'into it' for about 5 years now.  I'm currently running a small scale photography business, mainly selling some of my nicer stuff.  I'm also a member of our local club and have won a few competitions there this year.

I look forward to speaking with you all.

Dale. Smiley

Hey Dale,
Welcome, and thanks for taking the plunge. They say a pioneer is the guy with arrow in his back - and for that matter, the second mouse gets the cheese! Its still abit quite here after jsut a few days live, but I appreciate thet you took the time to register.
That said, lets get you involved. Please post some of you images into any of the existing categories, or set up your own gallery - or both. I placed an ad on www.Gumtree.com in Cardiff, just this morning (possibly where you found us), but it got punted off within the hour, for not being local. In short order, we were also removed from: New York, London, Chicago, Melbourne, Singapore, Hong Kong, Dublin, Belfast, Wellington New Zealand, Sydney (where I am a local), Johannasburg -perhaps a record. All for attempting to create local versions of Light Art on a local directory service. It is tough getting a message out there.
That's the whole idea. Get locals participating to meet other breathing humans with similar interests. Yikes!

Any way, your are now the local Welsh 'Light Art' correspondant whether you like it or not  Wink Only kidding.
Please bear with us while we build the numbers, tell a friend, post a few messages and images and enjoy capturing light!

Regards and cheers to you,

Hi Dale, some nice pics up already. Good to see we are getting an international community.

I'm putting this in all your intro posts - please go to your profile and add you location so it shows up under your name.  You can be as vague as the continent or as specific as your suburb, jsut so we all know how near/far we all are.  Pretty, pretty please.

Hi Dale,
Good to see that your are ALAW (alive and well).
These things happen...the speed bumps of life.
My own currently consist of end of season play-offs for my daughters' (yes plural) end of year hockey and basketball seasons.
I love them dearly, but have become a taxi service covering an area the size of England.

Good to hear from you anyway!

Do what lol?  Cheesy

Lucy, sorry for taking so long to post.  I've entered a few comps at my local camera club and did quite well last year, winning a few. Wink
