ok guys here it is My recipe for strawberry and red pepper sauce
1 small red onion
1 large red bell pepper
Same weight of strawberries as pepper (aprox)
Glass of red wine
1 clove garlic. Optional
2 tablespoons olive oil
Black pepper half tea spoon
Salt to taste

Roast the pepper; I use a blow torch it is quicker than an oven, once the skin is black all over wrap it in Clingfilm for about 10 mins.
Chop onion crush garlic. Add to whatever pot you are using with half the oil.
De seed and chop the pepper add to pot. Chop strawberries add to pot with black pepper, wine and salt to taste.
Cook until all soft about 15 min.
At this point you have a choice, place in a blender with remaining oil if required or serve as it comes, personal favourite serve as it comes.
Just remember there are no rules, add or subtract, increase or decrease to suit your taste.
You can even sweeten it with caster sugar and use it with some fish like sword fish or tuna. But then you make the sauce first then cook the fish in it.
Anyway I think you get the Ida enjoy. if not it must be your cooking as hilda likes it
