By far the hardest event I have ever shot, but managed to get a few that qualify as photos.

First, this event was held in a large (40,000 square foot) building that was lit by chandeliers. Think, Fun, Fun, Joy, Joy here.

On the dinner side, they thought that table lamps covered with red shades would be better. Think, My God what did I get myself into.

Now for the best part. They bring in the $180,000 Aston Martin DB9 for a back drop. (Schweet). Oh yeah, portraits are going to be printed on site. No chandelier lighting within 40 feet, but I do get to use a flash.
Insert, Now you know why pros charge so much.

Now for the results:

The car: (oh yeah, how do you ruin the shot of a $180,000 car, Put a darn bow on it)

With the big lights on:

With the big lights off:

The cool looking display complete with the chandeliers:

Cripes, what a setup.  Very difficult to photograph in with that high ceiling and the (relatively) dark lighting.  You 'done good', nice results.

Nice work, quite a task and it was good of them to put your Aston inside  Smiley but I agree the bow spoilt it. A beasty machine with a pink bow is just wrong.....  Sad

Some great shots you got there under difficult conditions !

Time is like a freeway of infinite lanes, all leading from the past to the future. A driver in lane A may crash, while a driver in lane B survives, it follows that by changing lanes one may be able to predict the future.
