I wasn't sure where these were best suited for, but People seemed appropriate for half of it.

The person with the unintentionally-yet-strategically-anonymous face in both shots is my mentor, Master Falconer Henry Thomas with a female Red-Tailed Hawk.

Great detail shots Gage. Are you into Falconry yourself?

I like the first one best. It looks as if the poor chap is about to get attacked

I was! There's something of a financial requirement involved that I simply can't put forth at present, but I hope to be able to pursue it again when I can. The interest certainly hasn't waned even if the situation has changed.

I volunteered for a time at Sardis Raptor Center, an education and rehabilitation center where I met my first love, a Harris' Hawk named Heyoke who is pictured on the right:

The raptor on the right is another Red-Tailed Hawk.

Wonderful shots of some of the giants of our skies.  They are very impressive birds, even the smaller falcons and owls.

Great shots on an interesting subject. This months issue of Australian Photography has an amazing cover image of an Osprey, check it out...

Wow, very awesome shot! I love the timing in catching the osprey in such a symmetrical shape.

I did put a couple of birds of prey ones in the Preserve our Planet gallery, Gage.  An osprey and a Brahimy kite, I think.
