G'day.

My name is Matt. I have been interested in photography for a long time now, however, have only recently begun to take it seriously. I own a Canon EOS 40D that I purchased on a trip to the US last year (exchange rate was good, price was great).

I live on the south end of Lake Macquarie in New South Wales, Australia. This provides me with quite a few areas that allow me to get out and play when I get the opportunity.

Interests?? Photography (of course), sailing, boats, cars and planes. Photographic interests? Landscapes, black and white photography, planes, cars and boats  Grin.

Welcome to Light Art Matt,

We are starting to see a few members from my neck of the woods, I am at Holgate near Terrigal and slugguts (Gordo), Stephanie and Amber15 are all on the Central Coast too, Derek is down the Highway in Sydney. As you can see, while a relatively small group, we come from far and wide with a diverse range of backgrounds and inerests. And that's how I, for one, like it. A big melting pot of images and ideas.
Don't be shy, dive in, ask questions, offer comments and most of all post a few images and join in!

Welcome, Matt.  We are getting a few members from that area now, you should all have mini meet up as the four of us Tweed/Gold Coasters did (before we lost Tim to Brisbane for work)

Funnily enough we don't yet have members in any of the other Aussie capitals yet, other than Sydney & Brisbane.
